Your tuning profile

Settings distilled from cross-referencing community profiles (SimHub forums, RaceDepartment, sim racing Discords) and cockpit rig testing. Every gain and frequency was checked against dozens of configurations to keep only what works universally.

🧠
Immersion
Trick the brain
Effects work together to convince your brain it's inside a real car. The engine is present everywhere, sensations are wide and enveloping. Ideal for long sessions, endurance racing and pure driving pleasure.
🏁
Competition
Precision first
Every shaker receives a precise, readable signal. Engine rumble is cut to a minimum — every vibration is actionable driving information. Ideal for time attack, online racing and actively improving your driving.

Where are your bass shakers?

Click each location to activate it · pick the size once active.

Shared channel option — A big shaker and a small one can share the same amp channel: same signal, two contact points, without buying an extra amplifier. Activate two locations, then click + Pair on one of them to link them.

SimHub routing guide
Name of each SimHub channel

In SimHub → ShakeIt → Outputs, each physical output of your amp corresponds to a channel. You give it a name — for example seat. The .siprofile uses that name to route the right effects to it automatically. Edit here if you already have names in place.

Setup: 1 amp, 2 shakers per channel

Two shakers can share the same amp channel — same signal, two spots on the rig. A 2-channel amp is enough to drive a big shaker (main position) and a small one (remote booster) on each channel. No need to buy a 4-channel amp or a second one.

Why it actually helps

The small shaker doesn't replace the big one — it physically extends it. Placed at another contact point, it delivers the same signal where the main shaker doesn't directly vibrate. The feel becomes more precise, more localized. The different sizes of the two shakers naturally create a frequency complementarity: the big one holds the lows, the small one accentuates the harmonics — on the same signal, with no extra tuning.

Brake pedal
Big shaker under the seat + small one mounted on the brake pedal or pedal plate. ABS and wheel lock are felt right under your foot — without a second amp channel.
Shifter
Big shaker under the seat + small one attached to the shifter or sequential box. Gear changes are felt in your hand, not just in your backside.
Impedance note — two shakers in parallel split the load on the amp output. Check that your amp supports the combined impedance (usually fine with shakers ≥ 4 Ω each).
Before importing — what you need to know
1
Name each channel in SimHub Outputs
SimHub → ShakeIt → Outputs tab → + button → one channel per shaker. Give each channel the exact name shown above (seat, backrest…) and assign it to the physical output of your amp. This step is a one-time setup — you'll never have to redo it.
2
Import the .siprofile
ShakeIt → folder icon → Import profile. Every effect in the profile carries the name of its target channel — SimHub automatically routes the right effects to the right shaker. Gains are already set — nothing to tweak.
3
Leave Outputs at 100% — that's normal
In the Outputs tab, all sliders stay maxed. Gains are not set in Outputs — the profile handles them. Outputs = physical wiring only.
4
All effects visible in Outputs — that's normal too
SimHub displays the full list of possible effects in Outputs. Only those present in the imported profile will be active. The others stay disabled automatically — don't enable them manually.

Import the .siprofile in SimHub → ShakeIt → folder icon → Import profile.
